1Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using RuneRift you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required by the law of your country, to use RuneRift. If you are younger, you may only play with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3Your account and security

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. Use a strong password and do not share it. Tell us immediately if you notice any unauthorised use.

4Fair play and anti-cheat

RuneRift is a competitive server. Third-party bots, cheats, automation scripts, exploits and any software that modifies the client or grants an unfair advantage are prohibited. We may use anti-cheat systems and penalise offending accounts.

5Free-to-play, no pay-to-win

RuneRift is free-to-play and strictly no pay-to-win. Any purchase is purely cosmetic and never grants a competitive advantage. Matches are won with skill, not money.

6Virtual items and RiftCoins

Virtual items and RiftCoins are licences to use content within the game. They have no real-world monetary value, are not redeemable for money and are non-transferable. Purchases may be subject to the withdrawal rights granted to you under applicable consumer law.

7Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• Cheat, use cheats or exploit bugs in the game.
• Engage in real-money trading (RMT): selling or buying accounts, characters or items for real money.
• Harass, threaten or abuse other players.
• Impersonate others or use offensive names.

8Intellectual property

The game, the RuneRift brand, its graphics, text and other content belong to the operator or its licensors. When you post user-generated content (for example, names, screenshots or messages), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in connection with the service.

9Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer.

10Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that put the service or other players at risk. You may also stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.

11Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we will announce them with reasonable notice (for example, on the site or by email). Continued use of the service after the changes take effect means you accept them.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to confirm]. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
